課程概述 |
授課大綱 (概述、目標、要求 )：
本課程旨在配合大學部學生選修哲學系所開設之「學士論文」－論文主題Davidson on Minimalism。每週閱\\\讀相關文章一篇，或專書中1到2章，並撰寫摘要，與指導教授個別討論。第一學期著重於對於Frege以後相關文獻的研讀:(1)Frege, Ramsy,Prior Quine, .(2)Hartry Field’s Deflationism and Horwich’s Minimalism. (3) 近年來常見的相關批評。尤其著重對上述哲學家對Deflationism的主張及其論證之分析。
第二學期著重於(4)Davidson的真之理論，以及其對於Deflationism/ Minimalism的批評，以及(5)Horwich如何回應這些批評。並於期中考後草擬底稿並涉獵近期期刊中相關文章每週與指導教授個別討論。尤其將著重對於相關論證之批評以及建構個人的論證。六月修改並繳交「學士論文」－論文主題Davidson on Minimalism。
